Mowing Program

Ritter Landscape provides and manages mowing service. Our mowing crews have been selected because of their proven performance and reliability. The same crew will mow your lawn throughout the season. Our customers appreciate seeing the same crew who they know are familiar with their specific needs. Many times our customers have us alter their mowing to coordinate with an event or party they may be having.

No problem! Our office staff will co-ordinate and make sure your mowing is completed at the right time.

Turf mowing, trimming, and blowing:
Turf shall be cut at a standard height of 3" and will be performed weekly in order to remove 1/3 of the grass blade or less per mowing, barring inclement weather (clippings remain on lawn). However, many of our customers find that during the Spring weekly mowing leaves unsightly clippings and causes turf damage. To optimize the health and appearance of your lawn, experts agree that increased mowing frequency during periods of accelerated turf growth will reduce grass plant injury and minimize excessive clippings. (Please call to schedule additional Spring mowings) Mower blades on all equipment shall be kept sharp to prevent tearing of grass blades. All areas of grass adjacent to buildings, sidewalks, stairways, driveways, trees, bushes and other stationary objects shall be trimmed with push mowers and nylon string trimmers to the same height as lawn areas. Grass clippings and debris shall be blown from all hard surfaces.
